There's an early kick off in the Championship that should be a cracker: Brighton vs Middlesboro, 1st vs 2nd.
CHELSEA vs SUNDERLAND Well now, everyone will be watching to see what happens here. I fancy BFS to put the bus into top gear and grind out a score draw.
EVERTON vs LEICESTER Another really intriguing fixture. Leicester's bubble has to burst one day, doesn't it? But not today. Score draw.
MAN U vs NORWICH You have to fancy Man U to get all three points here today, but it may be a long afternoon for everyone inside Old Trafford.
SOUTHAMPTON vs SPURS Game of the day in the PL for me. Spurs will look to bounce back from defeat to the most northern team in the division, while the southernmost team will also fancy their chances on home soil. Score draw.
STOKE vs CRYSTAL PALACE Last season, you'd have expected a boring, drab game. This year, though, it has the potential to be one of the PL's most entertaining games of the day. Two attacking and effective teams. Expect goals and another score draw.
WEST BROM vs BOURNEMOUTH The Cherries will struggle to sustain their professionalism against a decidedly non-glamour team. They'll find it hard work and I expect the Baggies to take the points, just.
NEWCASTLE vs ASTON VILLA It would be a brave man who predicts an away win. But unless Villa can start to produce brave performances, they have no chance of avoiding relegation. Newcastle's fine recent form will continue, and Villa fans have only five long and gruelling months to look forward to.

Actually, they have Boxing Day, and a gift wrapped 3 points to look forward to.

Surely if fatty puts bus in top gear he won't be grinding out a result.
Saying something is in top gear is to say they doing well and really going for it.
Would you like to revisit that one and try again?

Come on, admit you made a boo boo on an otherwise good thread and we'll say no more of it.
It's the game that holds the most interest to me. As much as I hate the fat cunt whose name I no longer mention, I hope his team win today.

I'd also like to see Sunderland get something from this.

*Checks BBC Sport to see if coffee's managed to at least get the fixtures right.
**Checks calendar to see if it actually is Saturday.

It is actually an INTRIGUING set of games today The least interesting is probably Man Utd's game
It's true that Stoke v Palace would never have been regarded as such previously but that should be a really entertaining fixture. By my reckoning there are probably 3 dreary teams at present .... West Brom, Man Utd & Chelsea.
